My First Balloon Sponsorship: A Full-Circle Moment

A few weeks ago, I received my very first product sponsorship from Anagram, one of the leading balloon distributors in the world. They sent me a beautiful set of standard purple balloons (my favorite color!), plus celebratory foils—“Happy Birthday” stars, rounds, and two stunning orb balloons. I had the freedom to create anything.

But I didn’t just want to make something pretty. I wanted to find where these balloons could shine and do good in Newburgh. Because balloons don’t just decorate a space—they uplift it. They bring joy. And honestly? If there aren’t balloons at your party… is it even a party?

As I was thinking through possibilities, I got a message from Dawn at Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall about the 28th Annual NICU Birthday Party—a celebration of NICU graduates and the families who stood by them. The theme? 🌈 Rainbows.

The timing couldn’t have been more perfect.

I showed Dawn the balloons and she gave me full creative freedom. We found an open space, talked through some ideas, and built a spontaneous rainbow-inspired photo moment that the kids loved. It was full of heart—and full of purple.

This was my second year sponsoring the event, but my first time doing so with sponsored product. That made it feel even more special—a moment where my growth, purpose, and community came together beautifully.
