A Little Pumpkin Is on the Way: Fall Baby Shower Balloon Décor at Tilly’s Table in Brewster, NY

Planning this baby shower was one of those projects that perfectly combined creativity, warmth, and connection. Even though the mom-to-be’s sister-in-law lived two hours away on Long Island, we coordinated everything remotely—sharing ideas, color palettes, and design details until every element felt just right.

When the big day arrived, everything came together beautifully at Tilly’s Table, a charming farm-to-table restaurant and event venue located in Brewster, New York. The rustic wood floors and cozy setting made the perfect backdrop for our fall theme, “A Little Pumpkin Is on the Way.”

For this design, I created an organic balloon arch and backdrop using a mix of soft blush, rose gold, maroon, custom burgundy, and pink balloons. The colors blended beautifully with the season and venue—warm, romantic, and just a little bit playful. We even found some bales of hay and pumpkins to add a rustic farm touch to the display.

What I love most about remote design planning is that creative rhythm that happens—the trust and collaboration that lead to something beautiful. By the time we finished, it felt like everything had fallen perfectly into place.
